"Mad at Congress over the shutdown? Have a drink and tell them."
This is the simple recommendation put forward by the website Drunk Dial Congress, which provides a service to connect frustrated citizens and furloughed employees with a random member of Congress to bitch at. This new website was put together by mobile advertising company Revolution Messaging & has to be the funniest proposition that we've seen in a long time! Right now, the site has put thru nearly 45,000 calls and averages about 1,400 calls per hour.
When you have polls showing that Americans prefer dogshit, cockroaches, & zombies to Congress, it's time to let Washington know that their voters are going to do something about it. (CBS poll)
So, have a beer or make a cocktail from the website's recipes, then call the bums up & let them know how you feel! Tell them what ASSHOLES they are for screwing with our country's economy (again). Remind them that they need to start looking for a real fkn job, because their days in DC are numbered!
