During this over-hyped holiday season, today's spoiled, rotten children should take heed of the tales of Krampus, the dark companion of Saint Nicholas. This dark figure of Alpine folklore is known by many names across old Europe, but the beast-like Krampus will punish misbehaving children on the eve of the Christmas season.

Often called the Christmas devil, Krampus tales recall his capture of particularly naughty children in his basket & whipping them with birch branches, then carrying the worst behaving ones away to his underworld lair. Krampus with his gruesome horns & monstrous tongue, predates Christianity, but became assimilated into Euro-Catholic tradition by the 1600s.

You shouldn’t be surprised if future Apple gadgets use this to incorporate wireless technology (such as NFC, a key factor in the iPhone 6’s design) without creating eyesores.
